Acupuncture needles are made of hair thin stainless steel.to give you an example of how small these needles are: 2 of our needles fit into the hole in a syringe you normally get a shot with.they are barely visible. The acupuncture needles used in our clinic are of the highest quality that should be painless. We do not prescribe to the adage: "No pain, no gain". We follow the Japanese acupuncture theory that the patient does not necessarily have to feel the needle in order to receive the best possible outcome.

If you are completely opposed to needles or needle phobic, we use other tools, like colorpucture, that is founded on acupuncture knowledge and uses colored light to stimulate and balance the Qi in the meridians and organ systems.
