Kate Hoffmann AP is Nationally Board Certified (NCCAOM) in Acupuncture. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Health Science and a Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine from ATOM , the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Kate Hoffmann AP has her Acupuncture Physician's license AP2563 for the State of Florida. Kate offers a variety of techniques to support your wellness, including Acupuncture, Nutrition, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Homeopathic medicine, Advanced Energy Healing techniques, Auricular (ear) Acupuncture, the NADA protocol for Addictions, Electro-Acupuncture, Reiki and other manual techniques to increase your wellness and balance. She offers many condition specific treatment plans, which are customized to your individual needs.
She is a Certified Qigong instructor giving both group and private instruction around the US and Europe. Kate has been practicing Reiki (Energy Healing) for 17 years, and after a 1 year Reiki Master apprenticeship in Germany started teaching Reiki in 1994 in Europe and all across the United States.
Her journey into holistic medicine started in 1991 when she was a manager for Motorola Information Systems Group in Germany and got an acute pancreatitis. Her MDs wanted to perform exploratory surgery because they were not quite sure what to do and Kate declined. She found an acupuncturist/naturopath and a Reiki Master, too her first Reiki class for Reiki I, and was put on a very restricted diet, nutraceuticals, got regular color puncture treatments (a form of acupuncture without needles, which she now uses in her practice, too!) and treated herself extensively with Reiki. After 10 weeks she was completely healed. Which is very uncommon for pancreatitis. This started her on a search and thirst for knowledge that brought her all the way here to Vero Beach, Fl, as a Reiki Master since 1994 and Nationally Board Certified Acupuncture Physician. She also has a lot of knowledge about nutrition and meditation.
She gives the gift of service to the community by offering FREE guided meditation sessions for anyone interested every Thursday.
